Hank and Tina are from Hualien and Taitung. They both work and live in Taipei now.

Tina: I heard about it. They’re switching to EMU3000 trains, right?

Hank: Exactly. The EMU3000 trains have more seats, so they can carry more passengers, unlike the Puyuma Express and Taroko Express trains that we took before.
漢克：沒錯。EMU3000列車有更多的座位，所以可以載更多的乘客，不像以前我們搭的普悠瑪號和太魯閣號列車。

Tina: I’m hoping this shift will finally put an end to the whole “tickets are like gold” situation on the east coast. It’s been a real pain.
蒂娜：我希望這個改變終於能解決東部地區「車票如黃金」的情況。真的讓人很煩。

Hank: It should help. But they’re not getting rid of all Puyuma and Taroko Express trains; they’ll still run some services in the east.
漢克：這應該會有所幫助。不過他們不會完全停用普悠瑪號和太魯閣號；它們還是會在東部提供一些服務。

Tina: Well, as long as it becomes easier to score tickets, we won’t have to worry about our travel plans anymore.
