The eastern section of the Circular line of the Taipei Metro has made its latest progress.

According to Wang Wei, the chief secretary from the Department of Rapid Transit Systems of the Taipei City Government, the proposal to extend the eastern section of the Circular line was approved by the National Development Council on January 6.
