These DPP lawmakers held a press conference at the Executive Yuan on October 20 to try to sell TSMC on setting up this advanced factory in Kaohsiung.

According to Lai Jui-lung, one of these DPP lawmakers, Kaohsiung has many resources that can benefit TSMC.

Lee Po-yi, another DPP member who spoke at the press conference, also noted that Kaohsiung has already set up factory areas to bring more businesses to the city.
