Anna: Not exactly. The prices at local stores are actually the same as those at the airport because of tax refund. If you buy things that total over 5000 yens at local stores, you can get an 8% tax refund.
安娜: 不是喔。你在日本當地商店買的價格跟機場其實是一樣的，因為可以退稅。如果買到日幣五千圓就可以拿到百分之八的退稅。

Laura: Wow, I didn’t know that. Are you saying that I should just finish all my shopping before arriving at the airport?

Anna: I think so. Plus, you can pack everything you buy in your suitcase without having to carry them onto the plane.
