Dennis: Hey Melissa, have you heard about those green Kuai Kuai crisps in Taiwan?

Dennis: People use them like lucky charms to make sure machines behave. They put them around things like cash machines and copying machines.
丹尼斯：人們把綠色乖乖當作護身符，這麼做是為了讓機器正常運作。他們會把綠色乖乖放在提款機和影印機旁邊。

Melissa: No way! How did that even start?
梅麗莎：不會吧！那是怎麼開始的？
Dennis: Well, there was a graduate student who was working on his thesis. His computer kept acting up, so he had the idea that his computer might need a lucky charm. Then he put a green bag of Kuai Kuai crisps on it, and it worked again. Oh, by the way, “Kuai Kuai” means “behave” or “be good” in both Mandarin and Taiwanese.
丹尼斯：嗯，以前有位研究生正在寫論文。他的電腦一直當機，所以他想到他的電腦可能需要一個護身符。接著他在上面放了一包綠色的乖乖餅乾，電腦就又恢復正常了。喔，順便一提，「乖乖」在國語和台語中都是「守規矩」或「聽話」的意思。
