遇颱風改行程
Anna and Mike live in Keelung. They are discussing a recent incident at the port about a cruise ship.

Anna: Hey Mike, did you hear about the passengers who were left behind at Keelung Port by a cruise ship?
安娜：嘿，邁克，你有聽說基隆港有很多乘客被郵輪丟包嗎？
Mike: No, what’s up?
邁克：沒有，怎麼了？
Anna: The cruise ship was supposed to leave for Ishigaki Island on October 2. But because of Typhoon Krathon, the plan got changed, and the ship left a day early to go to Naha instead.
安娜：那艘郵輪原本預定在10月2日出發前往石垣島，但因為山陀兒颱風，計劃改變，結果提前一天出發，改去那霸了。

Mike: Seriously? Did the cruise company let everyone know?
邁克：真的嗎？郵輪公司有通知大家嗎？
Anna: Sort of. They sent out messages, but a lot of people missed them. Many people hurried to the port but couldn’t board. Over 100 people were left behind!
安娜：算有吧。他們傳了訊息，但很多人都沒看到。結果許多人趕到港口卻無法登船。超過100人都被留在那邊！
sort of有點、算是hurry(v.)急忙、連忙be in a hurry急忙board(v.)上(船、火車或飛機)
Mike: That’s terrible! Did the cruise company explain why?
邁克：真糟糕！郵輪公司有解釋原因嗎？

Anna: They just said the ship was full and sailed off. People were pretty upset.
安娜：他們只是說郵輪已經滿了，開走了。很多人都很生氣。

Mike: I can understand why! It’s not fair for those who made the trip and couldn’t get on the ship.
邁克：我能理解！那對那些特意趕來卻無法登船的人來說，真的不公平。

Anna: Exactly! Some of them traveled from far away.
安娜：沒錯！有些人還是從很遠的地方來的呢。
