Taiwan’s biggest petroleum company, CPC Corporation, has offered a helping hand to struggling banana farmers on the island.

This week, the petroleum and natural gas giant announced that it would buy, at a premium price for the farmer, huge quantities of Taiwanese bananas, with distribution and sale at its gas stations to start within the next two weeks.
