Are you a creative person? Creative thinking is the key in various fields of expertise.
key(n.)關鍵expertise(n.)
But did you know that there are actually two types of creative thinkers? According to a new finding by researchers at Ohio State University and the University of Chicago, there are typically 2 types of creative thinkers, conceptual innovators and experimental innovators.

Conceptual innovators are generally younger and seek to communicate specific ideas in their twenties.

innovative(adj.)=groundbreaking創新的settle into=get adapted to=be accustomed to適應於、習慣於convention(n.)
Meanwhile, for experimental innovators, it takes decades of trial and error and knowledge gained to make unusual connections and go beyond the conventions of their domain.

As the lead author of the study said, “Many people believe that creativity is exclusively associated with youth, but it really depends on what kind of creativity you’re talking about.”
exclusively(adv.)
Hopefully, the study results can chip away at the favoritism shown to young geniuses and reveal the truth that creativity can blossom at a later stage in life.
