In a statement, China’s Defense Ministry said Beijing is firmly opposed to the NDAA, which “interferes in China’s internal affairs, violates the One-China principle and damages China-US mutual trust and cooperation.”

The ministry reiterated Beijing’s opposition to the US having any official and military ties with Taiwan and urged the US to “deal with Taiwan-related issues with prudence to avoid harm to the military relations of the two countries as well as cross-strait stability.”
