“Finger on the App” was a quirky challenge to see who kept his or her finger on the app the longest. Co-hosted by YouTuber Mr. Beast and tech company MSCHF, the challenge went viral on YouTube as several challengers streamed the process. There were four winners, each walked away with US$20,000 in hand.

Recently, MSCHF even rolled out an anti-eavesdropping device called “Alexagate.” The device allows users to block Alexa, a virtual assistant AI technology by Amazon, from listening to people’s conversations. Its weapons are seven ultrasonic speakers that can interfere with the smart speaker’s microphone.
