I hope this email finds you well. After having several executive meetings in the first half of the year, the human resources department would like to announce several changes to the company’s policy on leave of absence.
收信好。在經過上半年幾次的主管會議後，人力資源部在此公告幾項請假規定的更動。

Previously, the company required employees to submit an application beforehand for all types of leaves, including sick leave and menstrual leave.
公司先前規定所有假別都需事先申請，包括病假及生理假，

From now on, only those who are requesting maternity leave, marriage leave and paid leave need to notify their supervisor at least one day before their absence.
而現在只有產假、婚假、特休假需要在至少一天前告知主管。

Although some employees may be concerned about not being able to use their paid leave freely, please note that this is to give the company maximum flexibility in terms of manpower management and allocation.
儘管有些員工可能會擔心無法自由運用特休假，但請留意這是為了讓公司能擁有人力管理及配置的最大彈性。

Furthermore, for consecutive sick leave which lasts more than three days, please provide a certificate of diagnosis as proof, as we don’t want any employee to find a loophole in the leave policy and take advantage of it.
另外連續三天以上的病假，請提供診斷證明。我們不想有任何員工鑽請假規定的漏洞來佔便宜。

Please note any such sick day application that is not accompanied by a certificate will be declined.
