Kurt: It’s actually pretty simple. Just go to a bank and the bank teller will handle it for you. You may be asked to fill out a deposit slip if necessary. Also, make sure you sign your name in the endorsement area on the back of the check before giving it to the bank teller.

Kurt: Technically, you can. But some banks may refuse to clear checks from a different bank.
