Lisa is talking to her friend Howard.
Lisa: Howard, do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast?
Howard: I usually brush before breakfast. My dentist says it’s better for my teeth.

Lisa: Really? I always brush after breakfast. I think it cleans the food better.
Howard: My dentist explained that food and drinks can be acidic. Brushing too soon can hurt your enamel.
explain(v.)解釋acidic(adj.)
Lisa: Oh, I didn’t know that. Maybe I should brush before breakfast tomorrow.
Howard: Yes, and if you eat something acidic, you can wait 30 minutes before brushing.
Lisa: That’s a good tip! I never thought about waiting after food.

Howard: Also, brushing carefully is more important than brushing fast. Take your time.
take your time慢慢來,不急
Lisa: Thanks, Howard. I’ll try to follow the dentist’s advice from now on.
