KidsRights Foundation announced its annual index on children’s rights on May 15th.

In the survey of 181 countries, Britain’s rank of 170 and New Zealand’s rank of 169 are unbelievably low, considering the fact that both countries are rich, democratic, and developed.

According to KidsRights, the discrimination against migrant children and a lack of legal protection for poorer youths in New Zealand and the UK put them near the bottom of the annual survey.
