Two flights departing from Japan’s Narita Airport were targeted with bomb threats during the first week of January.

On January 2, Taiwan’s STARLUX Airlines received a call that there was a bomb on Flight 801, which was scheduled to fly from Narita to Taipei.

The second bomb threat occurred on January 7, targeting Jetstar Japan Flight 501 bound for Fukuoka from Narita.
第二起炸彈恐嚇發生於1月7日,此次目標是從成田飛往福岡的捷星日本航空501班機。
In this case, the plane had already left for its destination and was forced to make an emergency landing at Chubu Airport near Nagoya.
不過這次飛機已經起飛前往目的地了,因此不得不在名古屋附近的中部國際機場緊急迫降。

The call threatening to blow up this flight was similar to the one on January 2, as both were said to come from Germany and give the threats in a “machine voice” speaking English.
揚言要炸毀該班機的恐嚇電話跟1月2日的那通很類似,據了解,兩通恐嚇電話的發話地都是德國,聽起來都是說著英文的「機械人聲」。

Police are currently investigating these incidents as cases of “obstruction to business operations.”
