A new short-form video experience called YouTube Shorts has been released to creators and artists who want to shoot short, eye-catching videos using their mobile phones.

According to YouTube, the first-ever short video on the platform is an 18-second video titled “Me at the zoo” which was uploaded by one of the co-founders, Jawed Karim, back in 2005.
