Among them, India has the greatest number of children suffering from lead poisoning, with more than 275 million children displaying the dangerous blood lead levels. Lead can easily enter the human body through air, water, or food through exposure to e-waste, mining, paints, and improperly recycled lead batteries, according to the UN agency.
