His bill aims to stop the sale of cigarettes by increasing the minimum age of smokers to 30 in 2020, 40 in 2021, 50 in 2022, 60 in 2023, and 100 in 2024, which means that most people in Hawaii won’t be allowed to buy cigarette by 2024.

Creagan said that he doesn’t think taxes or regulations are doing enough to stop smokers. He wants to see cigarettes off store shelves altogether.
