According to Engadget, the 9to5Mac team has claimed that they’ve obtained some details about a major upgrade in NFC support tools, which reportedly will be unveiled at the upcoming WWDC.

With the new upgrade, iOS users will be able to link their EasyCard or other access cards to an App that allows them to use their iPhone device to directly enter the office or even hop aboard a bus or MRT train in the near future.
若消息屬實，NFC升級後用戶便可連結悠遊卡或是門禁卡，很快地iOS用戶將可以用iPhone刷卡進辦公室，或是搭乘公車、捷運。

Apple has had the NFC tools for the iOS for a while but the available functions have been limited. The NFC tools, once refined, will allow developers to make iPhone apps that work with a much larger variety of tap card systems.
