An anti-groping app called Digi Police is helping Japanese women protect themselves from sexual harassment on public transportation.
一款稱為「數位警察」的防狼手機應用程式幫助日本女性保護自己免於遭遇大眾運輸工具上發生的性騷擾事件。

When victims of groping activate this app, a voice shouting “stop it” blasts out at top volume.

They can also bring up a full-screen message to show to others which reads: “There is a molester. Please help.”
受害者也可以用手機顯示全螢幕訊息讓別人看到，上面寫著：「有人性騷擾，請幫忙。」

The app also provides maps to nearby police stations and can alert the victim’s friends or family to his or her location.
這款應用程式也可以提供地圖，顯示最近的警察局，讓使用者通知朋友或家人自己的所在地。

The app has been downloaded more than 237,000 times since it was launched three years ago, which is an “unusually high figure” for a public service app, said police official Keiko Toyamine.
自從三年前推出這款應用程式，到目前為止已經被下載超過237,000次，警官鳥谷峰圭子說：「這是一個很驚人的數字。」

“The number of downloads increases by about 10,000 every month,” Toyamine added.

With more and more people downloading the anti-groping app, it is expected that the app will help more Japanese women defend themselves against sexual harassment when they use public transportation.
隨著越來越多人下載這款應用程式，預計這款應用程式將會幫助更多日本女性保護自己，在搭乘大眾運輸工具時不受性騷擾的攻擊。
