The netizen, surnamed Huang, posted more than a hundred nasty blog posts on Weibo from 2016 to 2017, including ones that accused Lin of supporting Taiwan independence.
這名黃姓網友在2016到2017年間，不停地在林心如的微博頁面上張貼攻擊貼文，其中不乏指控林心如為台獨人士的內容。

However, unlike the way that many similar incidents have ended in the past, the regional court of Haidian District in Beijing ruled that Huang should compensate Ruby Lin RMB60,000, stating that the netizen’s comments were not based on facts, and could only be considered personal attacks.
