A new implanted device has been found to significantly improve mobility in people suffering from Parkinson’s disease, according to a study published in the Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences last month.

Through the electrical stimulus generated by the implanted device, the feedback mechanisms from the legs to the brain are reawakened, which significantly improves the patients’ mobility.
