For 10 consecutive days this summer, Aha school took more than 130,000 children on a virtual tour to 10 of the world’s greatest museums, from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence to Guggenheim in New York, the National Air and Space Museum in Washington to Tokyo’s National Science Museum.
今天夏天連續10天裡，芝麻學社帶領超過13萬名孩童虛擬參觀了10間世界最棒的博物館，從佛羅倫斯的烏菲茲美術館到紐約古根漢美術館，還有華盛頓的國家航空航太博物館和東京的國立科學博物館。

The idea first came to Wang Yuhao, founder and CEO of the virtual education platform, on a visit to Sichuan to investigate how education could help bring children out of poverty.

Education experts say the project, called “100,000 Kids Touring the World’s Top 10 Museums”, highlights how live-streaming could help improve long-distance education in China and also calls attention to the unequal distribution of educational resources in China.

“It’s definitely a great model,” Hao Lingxin, a sociology professor at Johns Hopkins University who studies rural education in China, said of the virtual museum project.
