Tummy rumbling? Chefs from all over the world gathered in Serbia for one of the weirdest cook-offs to make it onto the lunch menu: the World Testicle Cooking Championship.

Now in its 15th year at the villages of Ozrem and Lunjevica, the ballsy festival included a mix of professional cooks and groups of friends, all fighting for the prize of tastiest testicles.

Judges tried twists on well-known recipes such as spring rolls, ratatouille, and curry, all featuring the confusing animal ingredient.

“There were some really interesting flavors... the winner was super, really fantastic,” said Philomena O`Brien, an Australian woman who was one of the judges that blind-tasted the dishes.

In the end fireworks lit up the sky after a local Serbian team were awarded first prize and the coveted “Ball Cup” for their four-course meal using bull testicles, including a chocolate “salty balls” dessert.
