英文中，有些以單字「business」來表示的有趣用法，而並非全部都與公司或工作相關哦！小編今天想為大家介紹這些用法。

1. Get down to business
「進入主題、討論正事」之意。假設一個狀況：你與同學要一起做一份報告，而同學此時正在聊天或互相打鬧，這時你可以說：Let’s get down to business.，表示「該開始工作囉！」

例句：If the introductions are over, I’d like to get down to business. (如果介紹完了，我想開始討論正題。)

2. Funny business
這個用法的funny，是種委婉的表達方式；funny business是用來表示不正當的行爲，或試圖欺騙他人的行為。

例句：If you try any funny business, you’ll be sorry. (你要是想搞什麼花樣，你一定會後悔的。)

3. Back in business
若工作或日常活動因為某些因素，例如維修中或重組中，而暫停，當障礙排除後回歸正常，就能用back in business來表達。

例句：I’ve got a technician to fix the computer. It’s back in business! (我已經請技術人員修理過電腦，現在它可以正常使用了。)

4. Mind your own business.
這個用法是強烈的表示請別人不要干涉、管好自己的事就好。

例句：A: Where have you been? (你去哪裡了？) B: Mind your own business. (多管閒事！)

5. Be none of one’s business.
這個用法與Mind your own business. 意思相似，但Mind your own business. 語氣更強烈，有警告的意味。be none of one’s business. 則是「不干的事、與…無關」之意。

例句：Stop pestering me. It’s none of your business. (不要再煩我了，這件事與你無關！)

6. Mean business
這個用法意思是「決心完成某事」。假設一個狀況：妳跟室友平常沒時間好好打掃房子，這天，她準備了所有的打掃工具，告訴妳：我們今天下午就要來好好整理房子。

這時妳就能說：I could tell by the expression on her face that she meant business. (我可以從她臉上的表情，發現她是認真的。)

例句：Now people are starting to realize that he means business. (現在人們開
始意識到他是認真的。)

7. Like nobody’s business
這個用法用來表示遊刃有餘、可以很輕易地、快速地完成某事。

例句：I’m not a good cook, but my husband can cook like nobody’s business. (我不是個好廚師，但我丈夫卻能夠輕鬆地做菜。)

8. Business as usual
它是用來表達「一切照常、沒有變動」之意。

例句：Today is officially a holiday, but it’s business as usual around here. (今天是國定的假日，但這附近卻一切如常。)
